Local Families in Need in Frederick

October is Cancer Awareness month and the Campbell Insurance Team is helping bring attention to the amazing people over at the Patty Pollatos Fund. You may have heard of this fund-raising organization. If not, let us tell you how wonderful this organization is to the community of Frederick County.

The Patty Pollatos Fund, Inc. is a 501-c-3 and was established in memory of Patty Pollatos who died of cancer on September 18, 1992. Patty lived in the New Market/Mt. Airy area all of her life. Because of this disease, Patty was financially devastated and about to lose her house. All she wanted was to die with dignity in her home with her family. Debbie Williams, PPF Inc. Founder, organized a fundraiser with her family and friends and in 30 days we raised $20,000.00 to honor Patty’s wish. She was a fighter and an inspiration to all of us.

The Patty Pollatos fund has been raising money not only for needy cancer victims, but also for Alzheimer’s victims, Heartly House, Red Cross, Scholarship money for our youth and other worthy charities in the Frederick and surrounding areas since 2010. They are proud that through the dedication and generosity of many, to date millions have been raised for the Frederick County Community. This does not count the materials, services and labor donated by local businesses for our fundraising efforts. 100% of all money raised is going back into the community. There is no overhead because everything that is needed to put on our fundraisers is donated.

Please take the time to visit to learn all the amazing things that the Patty Pollatos Fund does for our great community of Frederick County. The Campbell Insurance Team has set a goal of $500 to assist this wonderful organization.  I hope you will join us and show your compassion for those who need us the most.
